Finally got around to making the pattern for the face. I was kinda avoiding it because of the snout shape, but I gain nothing out of not making my suit.

This pattern is also not the best, but it works! I'm just waiting for minky to arrive, and then I can make everything!!



I made a pattern for the ears!! It's not the best, but I've never made proper patterns before. I also numbered every piece and drew up where each is (since it'll be difficult to keep track). Due to the fur pattern each ear is 22 pieces, I'm taking all the patience I can get ;-;



I redid the base with a better fabric and made the belt loop bigger, so it's much better now.

I'm not completely happy with the base if it, so I'll probably redo it tonight. But it took me exactly 1 week to make this tail, so I'm quite happy with it!

I flipped it in the right way and stuffed it. The inner corners of the star split a bit, so I had to use a ladder stitch to fix it (first time doing one, but it worked perfectly!). I still need to get some fabric to make an invisible belt loop, but then it fully finished!!

Decided to use a sewing machine for the tail (literally best decision I've made in months, bc it only took a few minutes). And stitched the star onto the tail. I flipped the star in the right way so it'd be easier later.



Finished sewing both sides of the tail together, and got both pieces of the star ready to sew together. (Forgot to mention, but I'm not using my sewing machine, so it's taking a while ;-;). Anyways, floor change since I'm staying with family for the week!



I started my holidays, so I'm making the tail! I remade the pattern a few days before, since it'd be too thin. I've been working on it for a few days, and got held up a bit (I had a medieval fair to go to!).



I've started taping the head to get a pattern, starting with the face rn. I kinda know what I'm doing I think?



At the end of June (big time jump ik) my faux fur arrived. I bought one colour in 2025, since it was the last of that colour being sold, but got the rest of it this time. (Omg I know faux fur is expensive, but it cost $230aud for all of it :0)



I got the base in March 2025, but restarted him in January! I added lining in February. (The eyes are paper, so I have an idea of what they'll look like)
